Nokia is planning to release two “Imagewear” necklaces in the first quarter of 2004. The Medallion I and Medallion II will be able to recieve and display up to 8 images. You can beam images to the necklace via infrared from a PDA or Camera Phone. The display is 96 x 96 pixels with 4096 colors. It has 2MB SRAM, 1MB Flash RAM, and an 80mAh rechargable battery that lasts for about 15 hours. It’s also got a clock!
If only this had Bluetooth support, I could have a date wear it at a party and beam images to it from accross the room.
