It looks like imov Messenger Enterprise edition has potential for some great location based services offerings.
“imov Messenger allows users to share their physical location with other imov Messenger users. With this location information, users can graphically map the current location of other imov Messenger users on their roster. Additional exciting services are planned for upcoming releases of the imov Messenger software.”
The only thing you can really do right now is see where you’re buddies are located, and they need imov Messenger installed (and running) as well. However, this technique of combining a GPS reciever with online instant messaging and presence could have alot of potential.
Take a look at our review on the other features of imov Messenger.
