Well, my new i-mate KJAM arrived yesterday via FedEx from Mad Monkey Boy Gadgets. The buying experience was quite pleasant as Mad Monkey Boy would randomly offer free shipping upgrades to HowardForums users discussing his services. The only problem I had was when paying through Paypal, Mad Monkey Boy wouldn’t accept payment if my Paypal billing address wasn’t the same as my shipping address in the order. So I had to transfer funds twice in order for him to accept the order. Dispite that, customer service was great. He even posted photos of the FedEx truck filled with boxes on HowardForums. He was definitely far more communicative with order status information than other retailers I’ve dealt with.
That said, the KJAM is very impressive! Stay tuned for a full review coming soon.
