The Axia 308 is scheduled for release today and we’ve got some pictures of the first model built. The Axia 308 is a Pocket PC Phone with a never-before-seen form-factor. Unlike most Pocket PC Phones, it’s got a numeric keypad and a 2.2 inch screen. However, it still has a touch screen as well as all the other goodies like a PXA272 CPU 416 MHz, Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 802.11b WiFi, Bluetooth 1.2, 1.3Mp camera, 128Mb ROM/64Mb RAM, Mini SD slot and Windows Mobile 5.
It’s also got some extra built-in software for doing VOIP stuff… and with a 416Mhz processor, unlike most HTC Pocket PC Phones out right now, it should be able to handle it. Could the Axia 308 be a winner? Stay tuned and we’ll see!
