According to Engadget:
“Microsoft is working on a version of Media Center Extender software to allow you to touchscreen your way through TV, music, home automation, or whatever you use your Media Center PC for. So far there’s no date for when we might see this software, but Todd Rutherford, Microsoft’s program manager for eHome Control, says it’s a sure thing.”
As a proud Media Center PC owner, I wish all PCs could have this software. Having to use Windows Media Player 10 to watch TV on a networked computer in another room is so cumbersome. Having a portable UMPC with Media Center Extender capabilities and a touch screen interface will be extremely cool! Now they need Media Center Extender software for Windows Mobile devices as well.
