The HTC P3300 has Arrived

My new HTC P3300 (Artemis) device arrived last night from Smart Mobile Gadgets. My first attempt at downloading the free Tom Tom map of my choosing was frustrating. When you launch Tom Tom it eventually brings you to a web page where you can choose the map you want to download. When getting to the NY option, it gave me repeated “Page cannot be found” errors. However, trying again a couple hours later, I was successful. Maybe HTC or Tom Tom didn’t expect their customers to get these so quickly and hadn’t finished setting up the site.

After setting it all up with my PIM and preferred software, I took it into the car, launched Tom Tom and entered the address of the party I was invited to attend. Then I tried to get the A2DP bluetooth adapter in my car to pair. Unfortunately the iClip’s battery was dead. There’s no dedicated audio jack on the P3300, so I was forced to listen through the external speaker until the adapter I ordered this morning arrives.

Sometimes change is frustrating!
