Alloop, a company that calls itself AI-native and focused on personal health, unveiled the Trio at a New York City launch event on October 23, 2026. The device is a modular wearable built around a small sensing core. That core can move between a ring and a wristband in seconds, so people can wear whichever suits the day, such as a ring for sleep or a band for workouts.
The Alloop Trio comes with 3 ring sizes but you also have to choose the size that’s close to your size. For example, if your size is 10, you’ll want to order the package with the 9, 10, 11 sizes.
The third piece of the “3-in-1” is the Halo module. It extends battery life and adds voice interaction with Alloop’s AI Health Agent, so users can talk to the device without opening an app or pulling out a phone. They can log meals, activities, symptoms, and other daily experiences by speaking, which adds personal context to the continuous physiological data the sensors collect.
The Trio is paired with Alloop’s open personal health platform, which pulls in data from compatible devices and services through Apple Health, Google Health, and Health Connect. The AI Health Agent combines that sensor data with lifestyle records to produce personalized insights. It also takes in observations that sensors can’t capture. The platform includes a Bio Age feature that assesses health patterns across six areas: sleep, activity, nutrition, cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal health.
At the launch, Alloop CEO Dr. Tony Wu joined a panel with technology journalists and a medical researcher to discuss how AI should interpret personal health data and why individual lifestyle context matters. Co-founder Frank Wong and designer Carter McGuyer talked about the ergonomic and engineering challenges of modular hardware.
The Trio is still pre-release. The New York event came ahead of a planned Kickstarter campaign where early backers can support the product.
