HTC Hermes vs. HTC Wizard

Engadget has gotten some side-by-side pictures comparing the T-Mobile branded versions of the HTC Hermes with the older HTC Wizard. Take a look at the pictures to see how they compare. It looks like the Hermes will be a bit larger than the Wizard. I thought the Wizard was too big, but if UMTS/HSDPA is important to you (and you live in an area where it works), this may be worth getting. Originally published on …

O2 XDA Atom Review

Raphael Salgado has posted a nice review of the O2 XDA Atom over at Pocket PC Thoughs. While this is currently the smallest Pocket PC Phone, it looks like there are some downsides. Pocket PC Italia Snags Pictures of the HTC Hermes

According to PocketPC Italia the HTC Hermes rocks UMTS / HSDPA, has a 300MHz Samsung processor, 128MB flash and 64MB memory, 2.8-inch display, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, MicroSD, 2.1 megapixel camera, and a secondary videoconferencing camera. Of course it probably will not be available anytime soon, and will most likely not make it to any U.S. based carrier since we don’t have any compatible UMTS/HSDPA services around here.
