Windows Phone 7’s MyPhone Portal Screenshot

Wondering what the Windows Live MyPhone companion site for Windows Phone 7 might look like? Here’s a blurry photo of a screenshot shown off at TechEd Australia 2010. It’s pretty difficult to see or read anything, but you can definitely make out a picture of a phone at the top as well as a couple nice grids of either contact images or actual photos taken with the phone. You can expect it to include most …

Android Fail: Multitasking (Updated with Apology)

Update: Apology… I sincerely apologize for erroneously portraying what happens when you don’t wait for a phone to boot up as a problem with multitasking, and please allow me to clarify the intentions behind the article in question. Many suggested that I wait for the media scanner to finish before attempting to use the device since clearly that process was not finished and that’s what was slowing the operating system down. Windows Phone 7 Demo Social Golf Scoring App

A lot of these demo apps that keep appearing for Windows Phone 7, which isn’t even available yet, are looking very nice. Here’s a social-network-connected golf scoring app that looks like could be very useful (if you’re a golfer.) The app lets you manage groups, golfer friends, local courses, and of course the score as you play. It also connects with your golfer friends for updated scores and stats. Check out a couple videos taken …
