I really like the email program on the Palm Pre. It has the unified inbox option so you can see all your messages in one list. The folder listing is also very nice with finger-friendly collapsible buttons. It also supports IMAP IDLE (Push IMAP), which I like a lot. Another great but minor feature is that it syncs reply/forward status on emails. So if you replied to a message on your desktop, the reply icon …

T-Mobile Dash 3G Software Tour
Here’s our software tour video of the T-Mobile Dash 3G. You’ll notice a few differences from the HTC Snap. For example, there is no HTC Audio Manager, and the Music Panel links to Windows Media Player. This is better because Media Player can be controlled by Microsoft Voice Command, which is also included on the Dash 3G. The new Dash 3G is T-Mobile USA’s first Windows Mobile device to support T-Mobile’s brand of 3G high-speed internet access. Take a look at what you get in the box, as well as how it compares to a few …

Is multitouch on touch screen phones really useful or is it just a gimmick? I’ve tried multi-touch on the iPhone and recently the Palm Pre. I suppose it’s nice with those little games that you play when trying to pass the time, but at least on the Palm Pre there isn’t much use for it. It looks cool when you can pinch and push the photos or maps, but if I’m using a mobile device …
