HTC’s “Green” Theme

It’s been about 2 days with my new HTC P3300, and one thing really bothers me. I like the green skin they applied to the phone dialer, and I like the matching Today screen theme, but… the thing that bothers me is the default Windows Media Player really doesn’t match at all. So tonight I decided to make one that does match. Check out this thread in our discussion forum to download the skin. Download …

The HTC P3300 has Arrived

My new HTC P3300 (Artemis) device arrived last night from Smart Mobile Gadgets. My first attempt at downloading the free Tom Tom map of my choosing was frustrating. When you launch Tom Tom it eventually brings you to a web page where you can choose the map you want to download. When getting to the NY option, it gave me repeated “Page cannot be found” errors. T9 Smartphone Text Entry Mistakes

Since I’ve been using the Qtek 8500 Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone, I’ve been trying to get good at T9 text entry. I’ve been impressed at how some of my friends can write out long text messages quickly and one-handed while driving. But sometimes T9 makes mistakes and usually I don’t notice it right away because I’m looking at the number pad trying to find the letters I want to use. Now, I can forgive it …
