The HTC Hub application on HTC branded Windows Phone 7s was recently update. If you still had the HTC Hub pinned to your start screen, you may have noticed a nice surprise. The update brought Live tile capabilities to the HTC Hub tile! That’s right, it now updates to show your local weather. This is, of course, a welcome update since previously, the extra-large HTC Hub tile was pretty useless. Check out the video below …

Microsoft, Paramount Trying “Movies-as-Apps” on WP7
Here’s something pretty cool. Paramount Digital Entertainment announced today that it will be releasing ten enhanced movie apps of Paramount Pictures’ films exclusively for Windows Phone 7. “School of Rock” will be available today, with other titles like “Zoolander”, “Waiting for Superman” and “GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra” being released later this year. The idea is that the three screens should work better together. Well, we’ve already started seeing some of this come to fruition with Windows Phone 7. The Zune desktop software will actually remember where you stopped watching a video, …
Continue readingAwesome Xbox LIVE Windows Phone 7 Ad
Microsoft just stepped up with a great commercial showing the Xbox Live integration features in Windows Phone 7. It starts off kind of like an iPhone commercial with a close-up of the phone and a narrator talking about being able to play Xbox LIVE games where ever he wants, even without his girlfriend noticing. I won’t spoil the rest for you, but I think it’s kind of awesome. What do you think? Will this commercial …
