The shipment of i-mate KJAMs where upon my order resides is still stuck in Memphis Tennessee. I ordered through Mad Monkey Boy. Dispite the silly name and website, he is hailed as an excellent retailer on many of the Pocket PC user forums. Meanwhile, those who have preordered KJAMs through Expansys in the US are begining to recieve them as we speak… and “NoBackUp” of Pocket PC Dubai has discovered a method of removing certain pesky 3rd party programs from the KJAM’s extended ROM in order to speed up the device’s performance.
“psneddon” of XDA Developers has also posted a list of known issues regarding the i-mate KJAM (copied from somewhere on the imate site). It doesn’t sound like there are any major problems so far.
