A new version of the popular iGuidance GPS Navigation software is now available. Version 3.0 adds some nice new features including:
Multiple stopover/waypoints
Itinerary planning (user-defined trip order)
Detour by distance or avoid road
Shortcuts to “Home” (user-defined) & POI subcategories (program default)
Trip status box displaying ETA, distance, remaining time, and speed simultaneously
Trip computer displaying start/end time, total distance traveled, average & top speed
New GUI w/ enlarged menu buttons & font size
UMPC/Car PC version bundled
Bordered roads
Railroads & major roads marking
Enhanced 3D display
240×240 square screen support
Unfortunately, while iGuidance 3 does work fine on Windows Mobile 5 devices, it looks like it still does not take advantage of the soft-key menus. The menus are still the old WM2003 style that you have to tap with a stylus.
