While most GPS Navigation software providers charge you a couple hundred dollars for new software and new maps, OnCourse Navigator has announced that its new version will be a free upgrade to existing users. The OcN 5 software is based on Navigon 5 which will include some interesting features including a faster start up time, NAVTEQ Q4 2004 maps (including Alaska), VGA & Landscape support, faster 4fps 3D view, signpost and speed limit information.
The upgrade is expected June 20, 2005.
