Turn-by-Turn Navigation in Windows Phone Mango
One of the features we did not hear about yesterday at the Windows Phone Mango announcement was turn-by-turn GPS navigation support in Bing Maps. Luckily a developer named SharpGIS has discovered the feature in the new developer tools and has posted a YouTube video of the feature as seen below. Without real WP7 hardware to provide a GPS fix, the Windows Phone Developer Tools let the user manually feed the Bing navigation app coordinates. As …

There are a lot of people who have varying opinions about what screen size is best on their smartphones. This is absolutely understandable since there should not be a “one size fits all” mentality toward phones or anything for that matter, but what are some of the advantages and disadvantages that come with larger or smaller screen sizes? Neowin has found a leaked screenshot of a new feature we haven’t heard about yet, that’s supposedly (and hopefully) going to appear in this fall’s “Mango” update to Windows Phone 7. There’s a lot of people who like the “unified inbox” feature on other phones and email clients where you can see all email inboxes from all accounts that you’ve set up. There’s also a lot of people that do not like that. It seems …
Continue readingAT&T Samsung Infuse 4G Software Review (Video)
This video goes over some of the interesting added customizations and software bundles that we’ll find in the Infuse 4G. There are some additions and changes to Samsung’s Touch Wiz interface. The “Slide to Unlock” text that used to be on the lock screen (in order to indicate to the user what he/she should do) is gone, but the sliding motion is not as restrictive as the Samsung Galaxy 4G, but more restrictive against accidental …
