Windows Phone 7 App Showcase: Fable Coin Golf
Fable Coin Golf has been out on Windows Phone 7 for a couple weeks now and we’ve been very impressed with it. The game is kind of a cross between shuffleboard, pinball, and miniature golf. The object is to push the puck into the hole at the end of the board, but what makes it interesting is that sometimes there are different powers that you can apply to the puck and sometimes there are enemies …
Continue readingEditorial: Sales Predictions and Mishandling Windows Phone 7
There have been a few predictions going on by both IDC and Gartner that Windows Phone will reach 2nd place in smartphone market share by 2015, just behind Android, but above iPhone and anything else that’s still around by then. For some reason, they’ve been contracting out Live Messenger mobile development to …

You might remember how some of our readers noticed a new button in a video we posted about a new version of Windows Phone 7 running on an HD2. There was a search-style icon button on the programs listing screen of a second HD7 Windows Phone that was caught in the background. Well, this time, the search button appears in Italy on an LG Optimus 7 belonging to Windows Phone Italy commenter “Huggye”. He posts …
Continue readingIM+ Coming to Windows Phone 7
While it seems to be a bit difficult for 3rd party developers to make a decent instant messaging application for Windows Phone 7, it looks like IM+ is working on it. According to the IM+ Facebook page a beta version might be available in April. We’re not sure how that will work since the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace doesn’t really have a beta-testing mode just yet. Hopefully we’ll see a full release soon since IM+ …
