OneNote 2010 Now Syncs Multiple Notebooks on SkyDrive
Last month, in using Windows Phone 7, I noticed an annoying issue where OneNote 2010 on Windows Phone 7 could only sync with one Notebook stored on SkyDrive. At that time, it could only sync the notebook it automatically created called “Personal (Web)”. You could go to the SkyDrive website in the browser and if you clicked on a different OneNote Notebook, it would download as a Zip file and you could open individual pages, …

Here’s a fun promotion for the launch of Windows Phone 7 in the U.S. starting November 8th. Visit select AT&T stores on November 8 to get FREE tickets* to either a Katy Perry concert in New York City or a Maroon 5 concert in San Francisco that night. Admission is first-come, first-served. It also supports Amazon’s Whispersync technology which syncs your place across devices, and even lets you email links to specific books to your friends. While the Copy & Paste feature is not available in the original version of Windows Phone 7 that we’ve got now, some of you may have noticed that you can actually select text in Internet Explorer. What’s that about? You can tap a single word and it becomes selected. Tapping and holding on the word doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t bring up a copy menu like you might expect. Well, guess what… after you select …
Continue readingWatching PowerPoint Broadcasts on Windows Phone 7
Another nice feature in Windows Phone 7 is how easily you can watch remote PowerPoint broadcasts from PowerPoint 2010. There’s a new feature in PowerPoint 2010 that lets you broadcast a presentation from your desktop over the internet to anybody that you send a link to. Basically it uses the free Office Live service to set up a web connection to your local PowerPoint software where the slides are shown over the web while you …
