Awesome Hidden Feature: Samsung Kies
While I’ve been using the T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S series smartphone, I’ve been thinking… I wish there was a better way to sync music & videos to this device. Manual USB copy/pasting is really annoying. And also… I wish I could archive text messages off of this device. Well, guess what Samsung made for their Galaxy S phones, but didn’t tell anyone about? It’s called Kies and it’s a desktop program that syncs your …
Continue readingWhy Twitter is Not Integrated With Windows Phone 7
You may have seen a number of recent Windows Phone 7 prototype reviews at sites such as CNET, ZDNet, Gizmodo, Engadget and MobileCrunch. Many of them cite the lack of Twitter integration in the People Hub as a glaring omission. Of course there will be plenty of Windows Phone 7 Twitter apps from the likes of Seesmic and Twikini, but why isn’t it fully integrated? If you were one of the Windows Live Home early …

Continue readingSamsung Vibrant Hardware Tour (Video)
The Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S Android Smartphone on T-Mobile has similar hardware to the Samsung Captivateon AT&T, however the Vibrant is much more iPhone-like. You’ve got a shiny chrome rim around the round-corner edges, and even the small slit for a speaker. The back is a lot different though with a cool polka dot pattern and a weird back-chin. I really like the placement of the power button. If you hold the phone with your …
Continue readingSamsung Vibrant Unboxing (Video)
The Samsung Vibrant is the T-Mobile version of Samsung’s Galaxy S series of Android powered smartphones. You may have already seen plenty of coverage on the AT&T Samsung Captivate and European Galaxy S devices, but the T-Mobile version is slightly different. One thing you’ll notice right away from the unboxing is the “Avatar” movie promotion. Yes it comes with the full Avatar movie on a 2Gb storage card so right away you’ll be able to …
