Frozen Bubble Game Coming to Windows Phone 7
A Snood-like game called Frozen Bubble is in the process of being ported to Windows Phone 7 via XNA programming. The developer says, “Currently everything works except menu’s and multiplayer. This is planned for one of the coming weeks.” He’s got a few months still before we start seeing Windows Phone 7 devices on the market, so that’s good news. It looks like we’re seeing some decent developer excitement for Windows Phone 7, huh? (via …
Continue readingSuper AMOLED vs AMOLED vs LCD in direct sunlight
Techblog has recorded a good video comparing the different screen technologies out there in direct sunlight to see which one is the most usable. Super AMOLED was supposed to be great for outdoor screen visibility, but judging by this video, I’m not that impressed. Microsoft has released official Windows Live Messenger software for the iPhone and it includes some features not available even on Windows Mobile. It now shows information cards where possible instead of just a list of links as before. Switching from portrait to landscape orientations even …
Continue readingHTC Mozart Windows Phone 7 Coming in October?
Oh, here’s a good looking HTC Windows Phone 7! There’s not a whole lot of information on it right now, but I see an October Timing and a T-Moibile US and Telstra release. I’m sure we can expect it to have at least the minimum Windows Phone 7 specs which are pretty high. UPDATE: The picture is a Photoshop job, and the original source is an XDA-Developers thread here. Continue readingTravelling with the HD2: Southeast Asia
Over at Malaysia Asia, we see David Jr. has been doing some travelling using his HTC HD2 as a camera. We’ve been very impressed with the camera phone quality and speed of the HD2, so if you don’t feel like carrying a real camera around, the HD2 seems to be a great photo companion.
