PocketSkype Voice over IP software Announced

“PocketSkype is free beta software that enables consumers to make voice calls using their Wi-Fi-enabled Microsoft PocketPC handheld computer, creating the potential for PDAs to become mobile phones. Based on the company’s Internet-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) software, PocketSkype works on any PDA running MS Pocket PC 2003 OS with a 400 MHz processor. Calls are essentially free, aside from the cost of using a hotspot.” –ElectricNews
