Selecting Multiple Lines of Text in Windows Phone 7

Here’s a tip that you might not have known was possible. You already know that Windows Phone 7 doesn’t yet have copy & paste, but you can select individual words by tapping them. Well in OneNote and Word, if you tap the selection again and then drag, you can select multiple lines of type. Of course you can’t do much with it afterwards, but it’s good for selecting a lot of text that you want to delete or comment on using the reviewing tools in Word. This also works for running Bing searches on multiple words and phrases. Simply select the phrase using the technique below (in Word), then press the search button on the phone. Oddly the search feature does not work from OneNote.
