Today Dynabook announces another new laptop computer; this time an updated Portégé X30W-M tablet PC convertible. I’ve been using Windows based tablet PCs and tablet PC convertibles since 2002 when they were first launched with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, so I always love seeing new Windows tablets come around. This one purportedly even has the excellent Wacom-based stylus pen digitizer technology so that creative drawing programs and note-taking software will work well. Though the stylus in the picture looks more like a capacitive stylus.
The Portégé X30W-M tablet PC can be configured with U-and H-series Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, up to 32Gb of 6,400 MHzLPDDR5x RAM, and up to 2Tb of SSD storage. The nice blue magnesium alloy chassis is tested to MIL-STD-810G standards and the whole thing weighs less than 1Kg.
Hopefully we’ll get to review one of these soon.
