Ultimate Control Over Theme Creation

Carlo Guerrero has posted a great analysis of what goes into creating a theme for Pocket PC 2003 at PPCW.NET. By creating the custom INF file and images yourself and using ThemeBuilder 2003 by Richard Owens, you can create themes that are much less limited. For example, you are not constrained to using a background image designed for 240×320 pixel screens. You can use a larger graphic that is designed to accomodate portrait and landscape orientations as well as higher resolution 640×480 screen sizes. Granted, this method is a bit complicated.
