While the actual WiFi interface isn’t modified at all from the i-mate K-JAM, T-Mobile USA of course had to add special support for their Hotspots service to the MDA. In the programs folder there’s an icon for quickly connecting to a T-Mobile Hotspot if you’re within range. In the Settings>Connections area there’s also a Hotspot control panel where you can save your username and password for quick and easy logging on to T-Mobile Hotspots.
And don’t forget, T-Mobile is now offering their new “Total Internet” package which gives you unlimited GPRS/EDGE internet as well as Unlimited Hotspots WiFi internet access for an additional $30/month.
