The new Alienware 15 is a gaming laptop without all of the extra unnecessary frills that many other gaming laptops like to add these days. There are no multi-color rainbow lights in the keyboard or in the lid’s logo or surrounding the base. Sure, that all looks cool, but it really doesn’t have anything to do with your ability to play PC games. Alienware has normally been all about the high end gaming computers, but with the Alienware 15, the goal is to make their brand of gaming computers a little more affordable with some more price point options starting at $1299.

The Alienware 15 joins the already-available new Alienware 16 Area-51, Alienware 16X Aurora, and Alienware 18 Area-51 gaming laptops which were released in March.
The Alienware 15 Gaming Laptop is designed to offer a high-value gaming experience by balancing performance with a durable, modern aesthetic. Shifting away from the traditional “thermal shelf” design, this model emphasizes mobility and resilience, featuring a premium Nova Black finish and a chassis constructed from polycarbonate resin. This build is engineered to withstand daily wear and tear, including spills and drops, while remaining user-friendly with easily replaceable SO-DIMM memory and SSD slots for future upgrades.
The Alienware 15 has a 15.3-inch WUXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 165Hz refresh rate, providing gamers with acceptable visuals. To maintain peak performance during demanding gaming sessions, the laptop utilizes Alienware’s Cryo-tech™ cooling system. This thermal solution features 2,163 air inlets and a dedicated rear exhaust system that efficiently manages heat from the AMD Ryzen™ or Intel® Core™ processors and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 50-series GPUs.
The laptop also introduces “Stealth Mode,” a specialized feature toggled via the F7 key that instantly transitions the system into a quiet, low-power state for discreet use in public or professional environments. Complementing this is a full suite of connectivity options, including HDMI 2.1 and RJ-45 Ethernet ports, and a white-backlit keyboard tested for long-term durability.
