The Bild Expo first started in September of 2023 as a big 50th anniversary for the B&H Photography & Video super store. After attending that, I figured it was just a one-time event for the photography store’s big birthday, but in 2025 a second Bild Expo was scheduled. The Sumo and Sushi event came to New York City on its last stop of the East Coast tour on June 23-25, 2023. It took place at the Armory Track on 216 Fort Washington Ave., New York, NY 10032. New York Comic Con is back for 2022! As a post pandemic event, masks were still required, but barely anyone wore them. The panels were slightly smaller, no longer taking over Madison Square Garden and the Empire Ballroom, but instead moving to the new Empire Stage in the new building extension of the Javits center.
